Located in the immediate vicinity of the cave church of St. Erasmus with a view to the blueness of the Ohrid lake and the white peaks of the Jablanica mountain, there lives an interesting story about wine that we want to share with all well-wishers and positive people of today’s life.
We have opened new doors to the long-written history of the heat of the Chekoshtina sun.
Vranec – Trebenishta
Vranec is a red grape variety native to the Balkans, particularly associated with Macedonia. It’s known for producing rich, full-bodied wines with dark fruit flavors, spices, and sometimes a hint of pepper. Winning three bronze medals is a commendable achievement, indicating that the wine has been recognized for its quality in competitive tastings.

Kratosija – St. Erasmus
Kratosija or Kratoshija is a red wine grape variety native to the Balkans, particularly prevalent in Macedonia and Serbia.
Typically display a deep ruby-red to garnet color, often with hints of purple when young. The aroma of Kratoshija wine can vary, but it commonly offers fragrances of ripe red and black fruits such as cherry, plum, raspberry, and blackberry. You might also detect floral notes, subtle spice nuances like black pepper, and earthy undertones.

- Golden Mask - The necropolis of Trebenishta, Ohrid - Macedonia
Ohrid, the city of Light, after two and a half millennia, showed us again the golden immortal faces of his angels. The discovery of priceless treasures from Trebenishta village which is located on the road Ohrid-Kičevo was like a movie. Ancient Macedonian tombs from the first half of 1st millennium BCE loaded with gold, silver, and rich royal burial gifts. On September 30, 2002, the fifth consecutive golden mask was found, which is a rare practice in archaeology. In less than a century, or more precisely for 84 years, although at a not big distance, in a country that actually cannot invest a lot in expensive excavations, five golden masks were found!
